Who processes your data

The joint data controllers are Mirko Ferraris e Victor Enzo Valcarenghi. For any question about your data, write to projectboardgames@outlook.com.

Which data

• Email, in-game name and password (stored only in encrypted form: nobody can read it).
• Date and IP address of the sign-up and of the privacy and newsletter choices, as proof of consent.
• When you enter the simulator and when you start or finish a game (number of players and days), to understand how the playtest is used.

Why and on what basis

• To give you personal access to the simulator and send you service emails (address confirmation, new password): this is necessary for the service you request by signing up.
• To send you news about Artalis and the campaign launch: only if you choose it with the dedicated box. You can withdraw your consent at any time without losing access.
• Aggregated statistics on playtest use, to improve the game.

Where and for how long

The data is stored on Hostinger servers in the European Union. We keep them as long as your access exists; if you ask us to delete it we erase them, except the proof of consent required by law. Sign-ins and games are deleted after 24 months.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, withdraw your newsletter consent, object to processing and receive your data in a readable format, by writing to projectboardgames@outlook.com. You can also lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (garanteprivacy.it).

Cookies

The simulator uses no profiling cookies. Only a technical code stays on your device to keep you signed in for 30 days, so you do not have to re-enter your password for every game. If you choose a language, a small technical cookie remembers it for the site pages.
